President’s Message
A big thankyou to our Cantabrians for hosting the recent AGM, unusual I know but a pleasure to be able to wonder around in long green grass at this time of the year. The whole week was extremely interesting, from turning 1 embryo into 32 at the Beef Breeders Forum to prisoners Al ing pigs and finally meeting very good South Devons and South Devon people on farm
I would like to welcome our latest Board members, Jeanette Maxwell and Paul Goodwin, have both generously agreed to be co-opted meaning that we are currently a board of 6. I look forward to their involvement and the skills that they are able to bring to our board table
I would also like to welcome our latest breeding members, Jackie & Neil Kelly from Otago, I trust that your time with South Devons will be very enjoyable
Finally, I would like to wish all members well with the approaching bull sale season. Hopefully the talk of more cows on the back of an $8 schedule gives rise to more bulls being sold. Please make use of our face book page to get your bulls both private and auction out into the public domain
